Definitive answers about the audit and its limits.
What the audit includes, what the report gives you, how billing works, and where Auditaar is honest about the limits.
Getting started
No. Auditaar is built to work without any account access, so it never asks for your analytics, Search Console, ad accounts, or a login to your site. Everything it needs comes from your public URL, the same pages any visitor or search engine can already see. That keeps setup to a single field, and because nothing is tied to your logins, you can run the same audit on your own site, a competitor's, or a prospect's using the same Auditaar account.
Two of the three depths are free. The Snapshot reads your homepage across all six areas in a few seconds, with no sign-up, and shows the issues right away. The Diagnostic goes further: it audits your whole site, up to 60 pages against 200+ checks, saved under a free account, and gives you your A-Score (a single overall score out of 100) and every finding. The Diagnostic also runs a free 12-check comparison against up to three competitors. The free depths lack three major parts: the step-by-step fix for each finding, the full action plan, and the paid market and AI-visibility datasets. Those are what you unlock with the Deep Dive at $499.
A complete audit of your site and the market around it, for one payment. Auditaar runs 200+ live checks across the six scored areas, then adds the parts a free scan cannot: how you show up in AI answers compared with your competitors, your backlink history where it exists (which other sites link to yours, and how that has changed over time), and a written fix for every finding. It arrives two ways so you can both present it and dig into it: an editable report and a dashboard you can filter and sort. There is no subscription and nothing recurring; once you buy an audit, it is yours to keep.
A Deep Dive usually takes about 35 minutes from the moment you enter your URL to a finished report, while the free Snapshot returns in a few seconds. While it runs you can watch each step happen live, and if something stalls, Auditaar tells you plainly instead of drifting a fake progress bar toward 100 percent. If the AI agents that add the supporting evidence happen to be busy, your audit and score still arrive on time, and the agent notes and suggested fixes are filled in automatically once the agents are back.
Yes. Auditaar detects the site's language and market on its own. Most of what it checks works the same in any language: how the site is built, its structured data (the hidden labels that tell search engines and AI what a page is), its performance, and its security. Two things are tuned for English: the readability scoring, and the answer-readiness checks (whether a page is written so an AI can lift a direct answer from it). The library of AI answers Auditaar compares you against is also richest in English. On a non-English site, read those particular results as an indication of direction rather than an exact figure; everything else is measured the same.
How Auditaar compares
Semrush and Ahrefs hand you data and a set of tools, and the real work, deciding what matters and turning it into a plan, is still left to you. Auditaar does that work for you: it runs the checks, scores them, ranks the findings by opportunity value, and returns an actionable report you can work with. Those tools give you the raw data and the instruments; Auditaar does the analysis and hands back the finished audit.
It is fully automated. It runs without any human step, so there is no sales call or consultant to book and no waiting on someone's availability. Auditaar takes the checks an experienced auditor would run and runs every one of them, at full depth, on each audit, so how thorough your audit is never depends on who is doing it or how much time they can spare.
Your score is worked out first, by a fixed and repeatable process: Auditaar crawls the site and runs 200+ checks, and that alone produces the A-Score. Only after the score is set does a team of AI agents review the findings, one agent for each of the six areas. Each area's agent gathers the evidence behind its findings, a separate verifier re-checks the highest-impact ones, and another agent suggests and validates fixes where they can be checked automatically. The agents only add evidence and suggested fixes on top of the score; they never change it, so the same pages and data produce the same score.
The results
It lists the issues Auditaar detected on your site, each written as the problem and what to do about it, in plain language rather than a raw technical error code, so you can act on it without translating anything first. Findings are ranked by the audit's published criteria, including severity and estimated effort, so the fastest, highest-impact wins are flagged and everything else is laid out as a step-by-step plan.
Yes. You get an editable PowerPoint you can rework and present to a client or your team, a dashboard you can filter and sort, and a CSV export for each type of finding. Nothing is locked down, so you are free to reshape any of it to suit how you want to share it.
Auditaar never reads your analytics, so it cannot see your real traffic, your conversion rate, or your revenue, and it does not estimate a competitor's ad spend. The one figure it does model is organic-search traffic for the site being audited: that is worked out from public ranking data through a standard click-through curve and is always labeled an estimate, never presented as your real numbers. Every percentage in the report is calculated over the exact pages Auditaar measured, and any check that could not run is clearly marked as not measured, so a gap in the data is never dressed up as a pass.
There are two separate parts to it. Whether AI engines can reach and understand your site is tested directly on your live pages, at full depth. Whether they actually mention you is read from a large, stored collection of real AI answers: ChatGPT for the United States in English, and Google's AI Overviews (the AI-written answer box at the top of Google's results) elsewhere. That collection is a big sample rather than every answer ever given, so the figures for how often you are cited are best read as a reliable indication rather than an exact count. It does not include Perplexity, Claude, Copilot, or Gemini.
Yes, and re-running is exactly how you prove your fixes worked, since it shows what moved. You have two ways to do it. A partial re-run re-measures only the sections you pick, and it is priced by how much it re-checks, so a small change costs less than a large one. A complete, fresh audit is the same flat $499 as your first one.
Billing and refunds
Yes. If a completed Deep Dive surfaces fewer than 10 specific, prioritized fixes, request a full refund within 14 days of delivery. One fix means one item on your action plan. Every number in the report also shows the method behind it, so you can see exactly how each finding was reached. The full terms are in the Refund Policy.
Your wallet is simply where any credit on your account sits, whether you prepaid it or it was granted to you. At checkout, Auditaar spends that credit first and only charges your card for whatever is left, so there is no code to enter and nothing to remember. Credit does not expire.
All prices are in US dollars. If your card is issued in another currency, your own bank handles the conversion at its own rate, so the final amount in your currency is set by your bank rather than by Auditaar.
Yes. If you run audits regularly, a partner agreement gets you wholesale per-audit rates and API access to order audits programmatically. Self-serve API orders draw down a prepaid wallet; partners with contracted volume can instead be invoiced monthly. The rates are set on your account once the agreement is in place. The partners page covers the details and how to apply.
Being honest about the limits
It means a check does run, but it does not go quite as deep as its name might suggest. Rather than quietly present that as full coverage, Auditaar labels the check and says exactly what it does not cover, right there in the report. The same honesty applies to the numbers on this site: the check and feature counts are generated from what the engine actually runs, so they are drawn straight from the engine.
AI Visibility, Search Findability, Conversion and Messaging, Experience and Performance, Trust and Security, and Measurement. Every audit scores all six areas on your own site; how many pages it covers, and whether it compares you against the competitive market, according to your plan. They are always shown in this order, with AI Visibility first, so the framework stays consistent across every audit and report.
Auditaar only ever reads public URLs and never touches your accounts, so there is nothing private to collect in the first place. It stores the audit it produces so you can open the dashboard, share it, and re-run it. Those deliverables, meaning the interactive dashboard, the slide deck, the CSV exports, and the screenshots, are kept for 6 months and then removed to save space; after that, only your A-Score and the audit record stay on your account. A re-run also relies on the stored data, so run one within that window, and download a copy of the report any time if you want to keep it permanently. Auditaar does not sell personal data, and shares it only with the service providers needed to run an audit; the privacy policy has the full detail.
